Skater for day.

Im still getting used to being in front of the camera so excuse my camera face, i delete about 50 before i find one when i dont look like im in some form of pain! So this is my new Glassons skater dress, i adore skater dresses and they will defidently be a go-to piece for my winter wardrobe! This one in particular just fit me perfectly, so perfectly in fact that i justified buying it in three colours!

I love pieces that can be dressed down for day and up for night, on this occasion i was off to a preview movie screen ing,its next outing shall be Loreal Melbourne Fashion Festival of which i will of course be dressing it up a bit more!

On another note any of you ladies who have not been to South Wharf Harbour town shopping centre i HIGHLY suggest you head down, its cheap, like cheap to the point that "you buy so much you cant hold the bags" cheap.

I have to admit my so called "phase'' with metallics still has not left my side and my recent addition of a gold midi skirt is not helping my cause. I find gold and silver wearable with almost anything, since i have never been much into prints, any form of embellishment or metallics is the best way for me to dress up an otherwise plain outfit! This skirt is by "Topshop" I could have purchased a size 14 in the gold mid length skirt and a size 12 in the maxi silver skirt (see site or my future posts!), i would say a 16 would fit up to a size 20 due to the elastic waist band! Team it with a plain grey or nude tshirt and flats, with an oversized statement necklace or earrings! Then for evening just add some heels (Im thinking some snakeskin wedges!) and a slightly more dressy top! I cant wait to take this glittering, pleated skirt out on the town! Spent a lovely weekend in St Kilda! (Having too much fun for photos but can highly suggest the Carlisle st fish and chip shop and the beer tasting paddle at "The Local" , seach "studdedrosevintage" on Instagram for more pics!)

Just a regular Saturday afternoon, heading out for a BBQ on a lovely sunny day. Actually maybe a not so regular day since i do live in Melbourne. Anyways enough dwelling, loving this skirt, which is actually a dress that exposed a little too much in the top section, i adore the print and you cant really complain for a price tag of $2!

For years upon years,since i first applied my (mothers) first red lipstick (Cliche i know!) i have been a secret makeup "researcher".

I give myself this title as i am no hoarder, but instead i spend hours and hours relentlessly searching the Internet for the next wonder/miracle/value product. I like to have the best of everything, makeup is no exception.

But through the journey across the wide world of the Internet i do feel my collection features products that i can truly rely on. That never "break me out" , that last for hours and pretty much do the job. And also a few i wish to try!

The Bun.

So i finally figured out how to do the bun. You need a hair donut! Yes , i only just

came across this life saving inventions. In the process of trying to grow out my

fringe still and struggling to style my hair, any idea ladies?

Love this polka dot shirt, its amazing what you come across in op shop, i think

this was a maternity shirt but its completely on trend and cost a mere $2! The City

Chic skirt has become a complete staple! At fist i was hesitant at the shape but i find

it perfect to wear with almost anything and it looks just as cute with flats as with heels!

This is also my "Temporary" gold watch (in my dream I'm replacing it very

shortly with a Michael Kors version). This version is from Target at $20!

The January List.

After the composition of this list its possible I have come to terms with the fact I am truly having an overwhelming metallic/glitter/girly phase. Or maybe I am coming into my own personal style once and for all; will the chopping and changing cease? We shall see.

Right now im all about mixing and matching gold and silver with nudes, navy, black (Duh!) and the odd spot of bright random colours such as a fuchsia, red, orange (I think im seeing another trend emerging.uh oh). With lace and the occasional leopard or reptile print. I blame my adoration for vintage for my constant embellishment love.

And my list also should have included a gold Michael kors watch. But i am actually certain that i will soon obtain this items, hence its left off the wish list!

I figured something about about myself and wearing the colour white.

I shouldnt buy it. Fully stop end of story.

Pretty much i have this paranoid/anxious fear that i will destroy the

item with my given clumsiness. Even if that item cost a mere $5 (See

blazer below) this is its first outing, well it was nearly its first out to

Crown Casino gold class and dinner however i tactifully changed into

the black version (i know myself to well) that i brought at the same

Polka dot's.

I must say i was not always a fan , however over the past few weeks i have

seemingly warmed up to them! Excuse the bad hair im in an attempt

to grow my most beloved fringe out in order for a trip to Thailand at the

end of the year. Cant stand the thought of tacky "hair plastered to my

forehead" pictures, hence the growing out. Got to admit though im

fairly in love with my fringe. Did i mention this is a nightie? Yes and that

its about 5 years old and i wore it out to crown casino? shhh , dont tell!

Well hello there my lovely ladies. I finally was gifted (Thanks to the man) a

beautiful tripod in which to photograph my outfits, i must say i am still learning

as i cant focus the camera myself (unlike in the Studded Rose blog) so the photos

may not be as beautiful (Clearly i am no Paige) but this is purely a fashion

inspiration/style diary of which i hope to inspire you all with.
